Before you begin

  • Google access to the ad accounts or MCC managed by the agency.
  • Confirm the active Workspace and the Google account that will be authorized.

Expected result

The correct Google account will be authorized in the active Workspace, and discovered direct accounts and MCC subaccounts will appear in Integrations.

Before you start

Use a Google account with access to the ad accounts or MCC managed by the agency. Authorization includes Google Ads access and session renewal so the integration can keep working.

Requirements

  • The correct Workspace is selected.
  • An active Google session for the account being authorized.
  • Direct account access or access through an MCC.
  • An active subscription or trial when required.

Permissions

Owners, Admins, and Members can connect Google. Viewers cannot manage integrations.

Steps

  1. Confirm the active Workspace in the sidebar.
  2. Open Integrations.
  3. In the Google Ads card, select Connect Account Google Ads.
  4. If a connection already exists and access must be renewed, use Reconnect.
  5. In Google, choose the correct account and confirm the requested permissions.
  6. Return to Agencify and wait for discovery of direct accounts and MCC subaccounts.
  7. Check the name, ID, status, currency, and MCC indication before linking an account to a client.

The header identifies the Google Ads card on the Integrations page. Open Integrations and locate the Google Ads header by its name, icon, and description.

Validation

The Google Ads card should show the connection and discovered accounts. Confirm that the expected account is active and belongs in the correct Workspace.

Troubleshooting

  • If no account appears, confirm the identity's access in Google Ads.
  • If subaccounts are missing, review their link and permissions in the MCC.
  • If an account is closed, cancelled, or inaccessible, it may be skipped.
  • If the connection is expired or revoked, use Reconnect.

Limits and safeguards

Discovery can return partial results. Accounts with denied access, disabled accounts, or accounts that are not found may be skipped, and an MCC failure can prevent some subaccounts from appearing. Do not repeat the connection several times before reviewing Google Ads access. Disconnect attempts to revoke provider authorization.
