How to connect your AI assistant to Agencify

Connect your assistant, make your first request and use examples to look up campaigns and results in a conversation.

Examples use “Clients”. If you manage ads for your own company, this section is called “Companies”. The steps are the same.

Before you begin

  • An Agencify account with access to the Workspace you want to use.
  • An AI assistant that lets you add external connections. Availability depends on your app and plan.
  • To look up ads, your Meta or Google accounts must be connected to Agencify and linked to the client.
  • An Agencify account with access to the Workspace you want to use.
  • An AI assistant that lets you add external connections. Availability depends on your app and plan.

Use Agencify in a conversation

Once you connect your AI assistant to Agencify, you can ask it to look up clients, show campaigns or compare results. For example: “How much did Example Store spend on ads last week?”. MCP is the name of this connection.

This guide shows you how to connect and make your first request.

What you need

  • An Agencify account with access to the Workspace you want to use.
  • An AI assistant that lets you add external connections. Availability depends on your app and plan.
  • To look up ads, your Meta or Google accounts must be connected to Agencify and linked to the client.

How to connect

Choose your assistant below. Use the same Agencify address in each one:

https://www.agencifyapp.com/api/mcp

Authorize the connection by signing in to Agencify. You do not need to create a token or add a password to the address.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins. Select the add button, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Agencify and paste the address above into Server URL. For authentication, choose OAuth, which opens the Agencify sign-in page.
  3. Read the notice and select Create as a plugin. Install the plugin and connect your Agencify account when prompted.
  4. In a conversation, type @ and select Agencify before making your request.

Claude Desktop or Claude on the web

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors. Select + Add, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Agencify and paste the address above. Continue with the detected authentication and choose Sign in now to sign in to Agencify.
  3. Finish connecting. In your conversation, open the + button and enable Agencify under Connectors.

For team accounts, an administrator may need to add the connector first. Each person connects their own account.

Claude Code

With Claude Code installed, run this command in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http agencify https://www.agencifyapp.com/api/mcp

Then open Claude Code and enter:

/mcp

Select Agencify and follow the authentication option to sign in through your browser. Return to Claude Code and make your request.

Cursor

In the project where you want to use Agencify, open .cursor/mcp.json. If it does not exist, create it with this content:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "agencify": {
      "url": "https://www.agencifyapp.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

If the file already has connections, add only the agencify entry inside mcpServers. Save, then open the Agencify connection in Cursor’s MCP settings to finish signing in through your browser.

Other assistants and completing sign-in

Use the same address if your assistant supports an MCP connection with browser sign-in. If it requires a fixed key and cannot open this sign-in flow, that connection method is not supported by Agencify yet.

On Agencify’s authorization page, check the Workspace and choose the access level. Start with read access to look up data. Finish and return to your assistant. If you cannot add a connection, check your plan and team permissions in the app you are using.

Make your first request

Send this message:

“Show the name of the connected Agencify Workspace and the clients I can access.”

Check that the response shows the Workspace you expected. Then use one of the client names in your next requests. If names are similar, ask the AI to show the options before continuing.

Everyday examples

Replace Example Store with your client’s name:

  • “Show Example Store’s active campaigns.”
  • “Compare Example Store’s spending and results over the last seven days with the previous period.”
  • “Summarize Example Store’s latest Raio-X and explain the suggestions. Do not apply any changes.”

Include the client and period when asking for an analysis. If you need more recent data, ask the assistant to refresh that client’s data before answering. Refreshing depends on the connection to Meta or Google.

What you can do

Ask for the tasks below using the client’s name. Your authorized access and plan determine which actions you can use with your connected ad accounts. Meta and Google may support different actions.

Clients and targets

  • Find clients and view their details, linked accounts and people with access.
  • Create, edit or delete clients. Link or unlink ad accounts and manage collaborators.
  • Set or remove targets for cost per acquisition, cost per lead or return on ad spend.
  • Choose whether AI only recommends or can adjust budgets, according to the client’s available AI mode.

Team and Workspace

  • Check the connected Workspace, your role and permissions.
  • View members and pending invitations. Invite people or resend an invitation.
  • Change roles or remove members with administrative access.

Accounts and integrations

  • List Meta and Google accounts and check connection problems.
  • Request a link to connect Meta or Google, then finish in your browser. Renew the Google connection or sync the account list.
  • Import a client’s resources when requested and resume a partial import.
  • Disconnect an integration with confirmation and administrative access. This stops linked accounts from syncing for every client.

Campaigns and live ads

  • List and filter campaigns. View ad sets, ads and metrics for a period, including Google text previews or Meta image and video previews.
  • Check allowed options and create Meta or Google campaigns from saved resources. Prepare a duplicate from an existing campaign.
  • Edit targeting and ad set structure, including names. Change ads, link tracking parameters and daily budgets.
  • Activate or pause campaigns, ad sets and ads. Change several campaigns’ status at once and delete campaigns.
  • Refresh saved campaign and ad data, including metrics and Google previews.

Experiments

  • View groups, tested combinations and results for a period.
  • Check combinations and budget before publishing. Create experiment groups from saved resources.
  • Rename groups and adjust budgets by platform. Activate or pause groups and experiments, or delete a group.

Audiences and saved resources

  • View audiences, saved ads, keyword lists and conversion zones, including details and results. Check where each resource is used.
  • Create or edit these resources, preview media and create audiences in Meta. Uploading contacts for customer-list audiences still takes place in the app.
  • Activate, pause or delete resources after checking the effect on associated experiments. Editing a published ad may change the ad in Meta.
  • View, refresh or create Google negative keyword lists. Check linked campaigns and review the impact before unlinking and deleting a list.

Images, videos and Meta assets

  • Look up Pages, Instagram profiles and businesses. Find pixels, conversion events, custom conversions and lead forms.
  • View audiences and WhatsApp accounts. Check whether a Page can run WhatsApp ads. The full test creates and removes a temporary campaign.
  • Check an ad’s destination address and refresh custom conversions.
  • Upload images or videos to the Meta account by link. For an image on your computer, request the selection page and check the upload. Upload local videos in the app.

Results, Raio-X and recommendations

  • Compare metrics with the previous period and refresh daily, weekly, monthly or yearly results.
  • Read saved Raio-X findings and affected items. Generate a new Raio-X for one client or all accessible clients within daily limits, and resume pending generation.
  • Request an experiment proposal or preview a fix. Apply a Raio-X action after confirmation and record findings as seen, dismissed or resolved.
  • View AI recommendations and pending decisions. Apply one recommendation or a batch, or dismiss a suggestion.
  • Run or resume Agencify’s AI analysis. It may adjust budgets according to the client’s AI mode. Generating Raio-X alone does not apply suggestions.

Reports and sharing

  • View saved reports by period and network, or refresh data to create a new snapshot of results.
  • Generate links for performance or action history reports. Find and open shared reports, subject to their access protection.
  • Get PDF export links that a schedule has generated.

Scheduled deliveries

  • View schedules and delivery history. Create or edit email or WhatsApp deliveries with chosen recipients and frequency.
  • Preview an email without sending it, or request a test delivery to the selected recipients.
  • Pause, reactivate or delete schedules. Run a saved change history schedule immediately.

Balances and alerts

  • View and refresh ad account balances, spending this month and limits. Check available payment details.
  • Configure, pause or delete low-balance alerts. Send a test alert and track its outcome.
  • Adjust the Google billing details used by alerts.

History, progress and help

  • Review recent changes or a chosen period and identify actions by people or AI.
  • Track imports and campaign or experiment creation. Follow syncs and ad edits, as well as alert tests. Check what finished and what failed.
  • Where supported, cancel or resume a job and roll back items published by a failed campaign creation. This is not a general undo for every change.
  • Search Help Center articles, consult guides and read tutorial instructions in the conversation.

Choose what the AI can do

  • Read access: look up information and understand results.
  • Write access: also allows changes, such as editing campaigns. Use this when you want to carry out tasks through the conversation.
  • Administrative access: also allows team management and disconnecting integrations. Choose this only if you need those tasks.

The AI remains limited to what your account can access in Agencify. Authorizing the connection does not grant access to clients you cannot see. Sign in on the Agencify page without sending your password in the conversation.

Before requesting a change

A request to take action can change your account. Creating a campaign can start spending, and changing a budget affects ad delivery. Not every change asks for a second confirmation.

If you only want a suggestion, say so in your request. For example:

“I want to consider a budget change for Example Store’s holiday campaign. Show me the proposal without changing anything.”

When you decide to proceed, check the client and campaign. Also review the amount, where relevant. If the AI presents a confirmation, read the summary before approving.

If something does not work

  • The AI asks you to sign in again: open the Agencify connection in your assistant and sign in again.
  • A client is missing: check the connected Workspace and whether your account has access to that client.
  • The AI can read but cannot make changes: you may have authorized read access only. Check your Agencify permissions before granting more access.
  • The numbers look outdated: check the period and ask to refresh the data. If refreshing fails, check the account connection under Integrations in Agencify.
  • The response stopped during a change: ask “Check whether my previous request finished before trying again”. This helps avoid repeating an action that already happened.

Check the result

After a change, ask the AI to explain what finished and what is still pending. Open the same client in Agencify and check the affected campaign or resource. “In progress” does not mean complete.

If you need help, use the support options on this page. Describe what you tried and the message you received. Do not send passwords or private client data.
